On May 6, 2018 DUNLOP NEXT CUP EXGEL KOBE SERIES 1st round was held at Kobe Sport Circuit.
Sunny weather until qualifying race suddenly changed into rain, which made it difficult to decide dry or wet tires.
Yuto Nomura, who dominated time trial and qualifying race, chose wet tires from the pole position.The choice did not work and Nomura dropped the position, while Shota Hazama took the lead with dry tires and made a perfect win.
“MC-FORTUNE Award” went to Miki Onaga as the most valuable driver, who recorded the fastest lap in the race.
On the same day, “J4” – a karting event for kids was held. Everyone enjoyed the race with rental karts supported by EXGEL.
