Ukyo Sasahara Race Report – Japanese Formula 3 Championship Round 5 & 6

ThreeBond Racing’s Ukyo Sasahara took 3rd position both in round 5 and 6 of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship held in Fuji International Speedway.
Started from unexpected back rows after qualifying, Ukyo showed brilliant overtakings.
Here is the report from Ukyo after the final.

Japanese Formula 3 Championship in Fuji International Speedway Jun. 7 – 8 2018
Round 5 Qualifying P8 Final P3
Round 6 Qualifying P9 Final P3

Finally, I got back on the podium and achieved something in return to the team and everyone who has supported me.
I am filled with gratitude and feeling relieved after completing my job as a racing driver.
That qualifying was totally unexpected with lack of grip, but I pushed hard from behind and overtook a lot.
It was frustrating in the final stage of round 5 when I couldn’t attack enough, then in round 6 I looked after the tires and it worked successfully.
I greatly appreciate all the efforts of ThreeBond Racing to give me such an opportunity with the competitive car.
Taking all the chances I get, I will do my best in every race and I am sure that I can bring good results when I complete my job just as this round.
I keep pushing with my team to the limit.
Thank you very much for supporting me.
