DNC – DUNLOP NEXT CUP EXGEL Kobe Series came back to Kobe Sports Circuit for its second round on August 5th.
As heat wave covered Japan, all drivers had to get through the tough weather in Kobe.
Yuto Nomura blew his rivals away with a superb lap in time trial.
The 12-year-old driver completely dominated both qualifying and final showing remarkable speed and consistency.
Shuma Shimizu, a 15-year-old who is also participates in the Japanese Karting Championship FS-125 class, finished in second with recovery from unexpected back grid in time trial.
Makoto Kubo took the 3rd place podium. The experienced driver showed a strong race although it was his first participation this season.
“MC-FORTUNE Award” went to Yuto Nomura as the most valuable driver, who got a solid victory with brilliant driving throughout the weekend.
On the same day, “J4” – a karting event for kids was held. Everyone enjoyed the race with rental karts supported by EXGEL, with nice battles everywhere on the track.
