DNC – DUNLOP NEXT CUP EXGEL Kobe Series 3rd round was held at Kobe Sports Circuit on September 16th 2018.
Jiki Daidai recorded the fastest lap in time trial. Yuto Nomura, the winner of the previous round took 2nd position followed by Shuma Shimizu in 3rd who also participates in the Japanese Karting Championship FS-125. The only female driver Miki Onaga took 4th for pre-final.
Jiki Daidai, a 15 year-old local driver in Kobe, achieved complete victory throughout pre-final and final with brilliant speed and made his first win in DNC series.
Shuma Shimizu recovered his position up to 2nd from 5th, and Yuto Nomura took 3rd place podium who had been battling with Shuma Shimizu untill the end of final.
Miki Onaga once chased Jiki Daidai from 2nd, but couldn’t keep the position due to unlucky incidents and managed to get 4th at last.
“MC-FORTUNE Award” went to Jiki Daidai as the most valuable driver, who showed brilliant driving and made his first victory in DNC.
The next round will be held on October 14th in Kobe Sports Circuit.
