Comment:
Time flies and the season opener of the Super Formula started on April 4.
Qualifying was a bit tricky, but I managed to make it to Q3 and secured P4. I thought we could have performed better.
At the beginning of the race, I moved up to P3, then I was able to keep P2 until the middle of the final. Unfortunately the timing of the pit stop and rain affected our strategy and dropped to P3.
I kept pushing until the end, but P3 was the maximum we could get. The result was disappointing, but we made a decent start for the championship. I will discuss our strategy to win in the next round with the team.

I participated in the season opener of the SUPER FORMULA 2021 as a substitute of Tadasuke Makino with the No.6 car. His helmet was displayed in our pit, and we determined to fight all together.
In qualifying, we managed to adapt the car quickly and secured P3. Hard luck in the race with our strategies, the pit stop and rain, which ended up P5 with some points.
