Comment:
I made a debut in the SUPER GT and keenly realized that the competition was quite difficult. Managing the tires for the best timing in qualifying, surviving in battles in race combined with GT500 cars, and there were so many other things to learn.
In the race, I lost cool a bit and made contact as a result, which was unnecessary. I regret the incident, but I learned a lot and will prepare for the next race at Fuji to score points.
To my supporters,
I feel sorry that I couldn’t finish the race due to the incident. I will give it my all at Fuji to show you my performance until the end of the race!

Firstly, I felt grateful that the race season started under such a difficult situation. Same as last year, I got an opportunity to drive the number 8 car.
The free practice went well, setting the fastest lap, however we couldn’t adjust to the changing track condition and end up P14 in the qualifying, which was disappointing.
In the race, Nojiri-san made a great start and moved up to P8. It was hard to defend my position in my stint, but I survived in the battles and managed to finish P7. We scored some points and the result was satisfiable considering the qualifying.
We have a lot to improve before the next race, so I will work hard with my team.
Thank you for your support.

Comment:
SUPER GT season opener Okayama round was a quite difficult one for us, as difficult situation continued throughout the weekend.
The final result P11 was far from our expectations, but I learned a lot through the difficulties thinking what I should do in the circumstances.
Time is always limited, but I will never give up to achieve the goal as the car number 16 team.
I appreciate your warm support.
See you at the next round at Fuji!
