Comment:
SUPER FORMULA round 5 was held at Twinring Motegi. We had a long break since the previous round for about 2 months, so I started with car checkups and everything went smoothly.
I had a good feeling for the Qualifying, however we couldn’t adjust the car to the changing conditions and ended up P9. The qualifying result was not what we expected where overtaking is not easy, but I was concentrating on taking points in the race as many as we could.
Unfortunately, I was hit from behind in the opening lap of the race and made a half spin, which caused a crash and had to retire. The result was very disappointing because we had to score points for the championship.
The next round will be held at Motegi again. I will work hard with the team to make a positive change for the championship.
