In the SUPER GT Motegi round, the balance of the car was better than we had expected, which performed well from the beginning of the first session. Although we finished the race slightly behind the top, we remain in the series title competition and overall, the result was positive.

To my supporters,
Thank you for your support as always. The final round is held at Fuji, NSX will be pretty competitive there. We are going to review the cause why we missed a win in the previous round and prepare for the next round in order to win and seize the series title. See you again in the next round.

SUPER GT round 7 took place at Twinring Motegi in Tochigi Prefecture.
Since we won in the previous round, we moved up in the points table of the championship and the series title has come into our sight.
The car performed pretty well from the beginning of the session, and we took 3rd position in Qualifying that was the best position among Bridgestone users.
Although I couldn’t make any progression in my stint, Nojiri-san showed strong pace and started fighting for the win.
The final lap was totally dramatic when the number 12 car in the top suddenly ran out of gas, which brought us a precious win. With the big points we gained in this round, we moved up to 3rd in the championship points table, only 5 points behind the leader.
For the next round, I will keep working hard with my team to win 3 times in a row.
Thank you for your support as always.

Comment:
We finished round 7 Motegi in P5 scoring some points.
Although the result is still below our expectations and tough circumstances continue, this race was quite valuable after defending the 5th position with our maximum efforts, which felt different form previous rounds.
It’s not easy to bring out our best performance in every round, but we gave it our all in this round which made us step forward.
The next round at Fuji is the season finale. Even though our team hasn’t performed well there, we will prepare for the final and maximize our performance to the limit, so that all of us can finish the season with smiles.
I appreciate the warm support from my sponsors, suppliers and fans.
See you soon at the next round, thank you so much!
